Wedgewood's Dark Lord
We were recently contacted by Carol from the Czech Republic who kindly agreed to let us add her beautiful Border Collie Tex to our hall of fame. It is always lovely to see our rosettes bringing a little joy around the world.
Tex is for sure one much loved and well travelled part of Carol's family. A reminder to us all how blessed we are to share our lives with animals, thinking back over the years of the places our dogs have taken us and the people we have met through them we are always grateful for the memories they have given us.
Tex is our long awaited boy from the United States of America. I got him on 20th March 2015. We participate in shows. He was a very successful puppy always ending up first in baby and puppy classes. He also got BISS Baby and BIS puppy titles. He's got the first BOB in his early 10 months at a Club show and added r. BIS Junior title in the finals. He is multiple JuniorChampion, multiple Champion, Grand Champion, BIS at area show and he gained both International Championships. C.I.E. and C.I.B. As far as I know, he is the first border collie from Czech, who was able to win a class at Cruft's. It was in 2016, junior male. He is not only pretty, but also very clever!
Easily passed the herding instinct test and herding working test when young, trained for agility, passed his endurance test and thanks to my friends in the states we had to chance to pass american tricks exams. ETD, TKP, ATD, TKA, ITD, TKI, NTD, TKN. He was my helper during my summer job at sheep farm helping me care for a big flock of sheep.
Tex has travelled a lot in his life, he came from Reno thru New York to Czech republic, visited Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Kosovo, Monte Negro, Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Netherland and United Kingdom because of shows and competitions. Now is the time to retire him from competitions and shows and do all the things for fun!
Hope the rosette reminds us his remarkable adventures every time we see it.
